Allergic Reaction

When you have severe increasing wheezing, cough, chest tightness or shortness of breath, perform the first aid tips given below to stabilize the person before calling the medical emergency help.   

First Aid

  • Make the person sit upright comfortably and loosen tight clothing.

  • If the person already on asthma medication such as an inhaler, assist him.

  • If the person doesn’t have an inhaler at time of attack, use one from a first aid kit 

  • After 04 puffs, wait 04 minutes. If the person still has trouble breathing, give another 04 puffs.

Seek medical help, if : 

  • symptoms of acute attack occur

  • difficulty talking or walking 

  • shortness of breath 

  • lips or fingernails turn blue
